The Brother F061 Free Motion Open Toe Quilting Foot is a spring-action presser foot designed for darning, quilting, and free-motion embroidery. Its transparent open-toe design provides maximum visibility around the needle area, allowing precise control and detailed stitching.

How to Use

  1. Attach the Open Toe Quilting Foot, ensuring the pin sits above the needle clamp screw.
  2. Lower the feed dogs.
  3. Use the foot controller so both hands are free to guide the fabric.
  4. Select a straight stitch or preferred stitch (e.g. zigzag).
  5. Position the fabric under the presser foot.
  6. Press the needle position button twice to bring the bobbin thread to the top.
  7. Hold both upper and bobbin threads and sew 3–4 locking stitches.
  8. Guide the fabric smoothly with both hands while keeping it slightly taut.
  9. Finish with 3–4 locking stitches and trim thread ends.
