1976 - Sewing Machine Cart

Ban Soon has its humble beginnings in 1976 with a mobile sewing machine cart. The founder, Mr. Ong Ban Soon, carried the sewing machines going around Singapore and serving the community, educating and showing people the values of the machines and its differences and providing both sales and repair.

1990s - Inherited the Culture

In 1990s, the younger son of Mr Ong Ban Soon, Mr Ong Chan Hoe inherited over the business and run the business out from Clementi. He made a pivotal decision and run the self-employed business. 

Mr Ong Chan Hoe holds the values of his father, and laying out the fundamental principles of Ban Soon, and the belief has been kept up till today.

2017 onwards  - The New Beginning

The young team injected fresh ideas and innovative marketing strategies, in sync with changing consumer trends, were implemented. Aggressive programmes were launched to grow Ban Soon into a leading brand in sewing communities and bring a lot of success stories and online social media exposure.
