Students have the flexibility to choose any one of the five sewing alteration options.  Sign up now to enhance your sewing skills!       Option 1:
  • Reduce the width of the garment at chest area
  • Measure and mark appropriate graduation lines
  • Learn to use the overlock machines 
 Option 2:
  • Shortening of pants or dress length without cuff
  • Single fold of hem technique
  • Usage of overlock machines
  • Cross stitch by hand
 Option 3:
  • Shortening of business shirt sleeve hem
  • Cut excess fabric, align pleats and attache the cuff
  • Learn usage of lockstitch machine
 Option 4:
  • Shortening of a business shirt hem
  • Double fold hem with curve
  • Professionally unpick stitches 
  • Precisely mark and cut fabric
  • Usage of lockstitch machine
 Option 5:
  • Shortening of sleeve or hem of blouse without cuff
  • Double fold hem
  • Usage of lock machines

 

What you will learn:

1) Accurately measure garment and body.

2) Effectively pin garments.

3) Professionally unpick stitches.

4) Select suitable finishing techniques.


We will provide:

  • Cutting Tools will be provided during class
  • Sewing Machines and overlock machines
