Basic Operating Instructions
- With the wrong side of the fabric facing up, feed the binding strip through the serpentine fabric guide and into the binder.
- Cut the leading edge of the strip at an angle to make feeding easier.
- Keep the excess strip positioned to the right of the machine and free from tangles.
- Ensure the binding strip remains flat as it enters the attachment so the edges fold correctly.
- Pull the binding strip through the end of the binder and pivot it approximately 90° beneath the presser foot.
- Confirm that the binding remains folded correctly before sewing.
- Feed the project edge into the folded binding and sew using your selected coverstitch or chain stitch.
