Gunold Stiffy Iron-On Nonwoven 1640B is a premium medium-weight embroidery stabiliser with a heat-activated adhesive coating. Designed to temporarily bond to fabric before hooping, it provides excellent stability while preventing fabric shifting and distortion during embroidery.

This clean, soft nonwoven stabiliser is ideal for T-shirts, knitwear, stretch fabrics and other materials that require additional support for precise embroidery results. The iron-on adhesive makes hooping easier and helps achieve professional-quality embroidery with improved stitch definition.

How to Use

1. Lightly iron the embroidery area to remove wrinkles. Avoid stretching the fabric while ironing.
2. Place the adhesive side of the stabiliser against the wrong side of the fabric.
3. Iron until the stabiliser is securely bonded to the fabric.
4. Hoop both the fabric and stabiliser together.
5. Complete your embroidery project as usual.

Removal Method

After embroidery is complete, carefully trim away the excess stabiliser around the design, leaving the required support behind the embroidery for long-lasting stability.
