How to Use the Collarette Binder
- With the wrong side of the fabric facing you, feed the binding strip through the serpentine fabric guide and into the binder.
- Cut the leading end of the strip at an angle to make feeding easier.
- Place the excess fabric strip to the right side of the machine and ensure it remains free of tangles.
- Keep the strip flat while feeding to allow the binder to fold the edges correctly.
- Pull the folded strip from the binder outlet and pivot it 90° under the presser foot.
- Ensure the binding remains properly folded when positioned beneath the foot.
- Feed the project edge into the folded binding from the left side of the attachment and begin sewing.
