JUKI MO-6804AS-0A4-150/DD10K

The JUKI MO-6804AS-0A4-150/DD10K is a high-speed, 1-needle, 3-thread industrial overlock serger. Built for ultimate precision, it features an integrated DD10 direct-drive servo motor that ensures eco-friendly energy savings and silent operation. This specialized machine handles extra-light to lightweight fabrics with ease. It is engineered to deliver a stunning, narrow 1.5mm rolled hem finish. With a blazing speed of 7,000 stitches per minute, it reduces noise and eliminates fabric oil stains. It is the perfect choice for delicate, soft-to-the-touch seams.

3 Wide Applications

  • Bridal Veils: Sews narrow rolled edges on fine tulle, often feeding fishing wire through the needle plate for a wavy effect.
  • Blouses and Shirts: Creates delicate, clean edge finishes on light silk, chiffon, and lightweight woven items.
  • Activewear and Swimwear: Produces flexible, soft seams on thin knits using woolly nylon thread to match fabric stretch.

Core Maintenance Steps

  • Daily Lint Cleaning: Clear all dust from the knives, feed dogs, and loopers using a lint brush or compressed air.
  • Daily Oil Inspection: Check the oil window to ensure the automatic lubrication system has enough fluid before sewing.
  • Weekly Needle Check: Inspect the needle for dullness or bent tips, and replace it immediately to prevent fabric snags.
  • Monthly Filter Cleaning: Clean or swap the cartridge-type oil filter to keep the automated oiling system running smoothly.

5 Failure Possibilities

  • Thread Breaking: Caused by tight tension dials, rough loopers, or incorrect threading paths.
  • Skipped Stitches: Happens when the needle is bent, installed backward, or timed incorrectly with the loopers.
  • Fabric Bunching: Occurs if the differential feed ratio or presser foot pressure is set wrong for light fabrics.
  • Dull Edge Cuts: Caused by worn, nicked, or misaligned upper and lower trimming knives.
  • Oil Splattering: Arises from overfilling the oil reservoir or a blocked internal oil filter.

Maintenance Procedure Steps

  1. Power Down: Switch off the machine motor and unplug the power cord from the wall.
  2. Remove Needle/Foot: Take out the needle and remove the presser foot to safely access the workspace.
  3. Open Covers: Swing open the cloth plate cover and looper cover to reveal the internal mechanisms.
  4. Brush and Blow: Use a brush or compressed air to clean out fabric dust from the feed dogs and knives.
  5. Wipe Looper Area: Clean away greasy lint buildup around the upper and lower loopers.
  6. Lubricate Parts: Add a few drops of JUKI Machine Oil 18 to the manual oiling points and needle bar.
  7. Reassemble Everything: Close all protective covers, insert a fresh needle, and test stitch on scrap fabric.

Cutting-Edge Dry Technology for Achieving a Lubrication-Free Mechanism.

The needle bar mechanism and upper looper mechanism have been re-designed to require no lubrication. The most-advanced dry technologies, such as the special surface treatment applied to the major drive unit and the grease feeding method, contribute to higher durability. The machine does not splash oil after a long-period of use. The grease filler openings are newly provided for the sewing machine on two locations, i.e., one on the upper looper component and the other on the sewing machine frame, thereby improving maintainability.

Oil stains on the sewing product are eliminated.

Oil splashes are substantially reduced to eliminate oil stains on sewing products, thereby upgrading the finished quality.
The frequency of stain removal or re-sewing is reduced.
The machine achieves a practical maximum sewing speed of 7,000sti/min.
