  • 10mm Binder: Cut fabric strips 36mm wide.
  • 15mm Binder: Cut fabric strips 48mm wide.

Recommended Sewing Settings

  • Sewing Speed: Moderate to Slow
  • Stitch Length: 3.0 – 4.0 mm

Installation & Usage Instructions

  1. With the wrong side of the fabric facing you, feed the binding strip through the serpentine fabric guide and into the binder attachment.
  2. Tip: Cut the leading end of the binding strip at an angle to make threading easier.
  3. Place the remaining binding strip to the right side of the machine and ensure it is free from twists or tangles.
  4. Keep the binding strip flat while feeding it into the binder to ensure the edges fold correctly during sewing.
  5. Pull the folded binding out from the exit end of the binder and pivot it approximately 90 degrees under the presser foot.
  6. Verify that the binding remains properly folded before beginning to sew.
  7. Insert the project edge into the folded binding from the left side of the attachment and guide both layers under the presser foot.
